Last year a lot of our students took part in BFLOC’s production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ at Blackpool’s Grand Theatre. Directed by our very own Sophie, the show won the NODA award for Best Musical. Congratulations to all the cast and creative team on a wonderful win! 🏆💚 We’re missing a few munchkins and some adult cast members but we all wanted to pose with the trophy! 💪🏼

Can you believe that yesterday was International Mermaid Day? 🤣🙏🏾🧜🏻‍♀️ How appropriate 🐚 So excited and grateful for all the interest since posting about our next show yesterday! The Little Mermaid will take place the week commencing the 17th February 2025 at The Marine Hall in Fleetwood. Whilst this isn’t a junior production and is the full scale musical, it will be a youth cast for all Cou-Cou students/members 21 years and under. Rehearsals will start later in the year (timetable to be confirmed). 🎼 BEGINNERS MUSIC THEORY 🎼 Following the success of our initial course, we’re very excited to now be taking on new students. 🎶 Learn the basics 🎶 Understand music terminology 🎶 Work towards ABRSM examinations in Music Theory “Brodie has been having music theory lessons with Phoebe for a year now and loves every lesson. She was a bit unsure at first as she wasn't great with reading music but now, 12 months on, is doing so well and recently performed alongside her friend at a Cou-Cou showcase, playing the piano. Phoebe is super patient and a great teacher. Thank you Phoebe, we can't wait for the next performance!” 🎹
